And so when I commit these words to paper/ I press fiction into fact by way of ink and lead/ And make these thoughts into realities/ Even if they’re only real in the universes I create

Because if this dreamer’s soul needs anything/ It’s a place to call her own and be loved/ And there is no place in this world for me/ So I’ll retreat to my head and spin a world where I am safe
